After unveiling the iTunes 10 in the Apple Special Event, the Mac Life guys noted that the new iTunes 10 can no longer create ringtones as the previous versions, In the iTunes 9.2.1 you was able to download a song for 99 cents then simply convert it to iPhone ringtone for another 99 cents.
Obviously, there are many other ways to make Mp3 ringtones for free, but after the Apple event we can no longer do so in the traditional way through iTunes 10. [via 9to5mac]
