A new jailbreak called Alphacon has arrived. It helps you eliminate the text under an app’s icon, making the screen look less clustered, according to news first reported by iDownloadBlog.
Remember the days when the iPhone’s home screen was one page and included just a handful of apps? Today, many are shuffling through hundreds of apps across many pages, making it difficult to find a certain app. This is where a new jailbreak comes into play.
Using the Alphacon jailbreak, users can change the transparency level of your icon labels or make them disappear completely.
Of course, the tweak doesn’t actually give you back some precious real estate; rather, it just looks that way. Still, we still love it.
Best of all, the customization extends to the transparency levels of other areas of iOS including your folders, dock, and multitasking bar.
Alphacon is available for free in Cydia.
