Since releasing the iPhone 3G, Apple has implemented a camera in it with an autofocus feature that allows you to precisely focus a point simply by touching the display screen. Now the focus process could be speeder, thanks to this newly approved patent.
When this patent implemented, you will be able to take pictures more faster, because the time taken to adjust the lens so as to focus the spot, will be decreased. The current auto focus, ranging from 0.5 to 2 seconds, depending on the number of frames taken into account to achieve focus. So, I hope that new patent faster autofocus to be usable soon.
